Seagrass Woven Flower Basket, 18 × 20 × 16 cm

A plant pot can look out of place even when the plant looks lovely

A simple outer basket can help bring a pot into the rest of a room's decor without replacing the plant itself. This woven flower basket is specified as plant fibre, with seagrass named as the fibre type. The current variant is labelled “flower basket / 18x20x16cm”. Those are the dimensions supplied in the option, but their order and whether they refer to interior or exterior measurements are not explained. Check the fit against your own pot before choosing it.

Give a favourite plant a softer setting

Imagine moving a houseplant into a quiet corner and placing its pot inside a textured basket. The woven surface adds an informal, natural-looking detail beside furniture and flooring. The supplier calls this a floor-use flower basket with an uncoated finish and a pastoral style. It is one basket, not a matching set. The old title also suggested toy organisation, laundry and folding construction; none of those uses or a folding mechanism is confirmed in the supplied specifications. This listing concentrates on the documented flower-basket use.

Seagrass is a plant fibre, not a waterproof planter liner. Keep a suitable pot and saucer inside when watering, and avoid leaving the basket sitting in water. There is no specified load capacity, drainage design or moisture-resistance treatment, so do not plant directly in the basket unless you separately confirm it is appropriate. As with other natural woven materials, appearance and shape may vary. Check the actual opening size and height if your pot needs a close fit, since the stated three measurements alone may not describe every useful dimension.

Why consider this woven basket?

• Seagrass is the stated plant-fibre type.
• Woven look adds texture to a plant display.
• One documented size option provides a starting point for fit.
• Floor-use flower basket is the purpose named by the supplier.
• Uncoated finish is listed in the original specification.

Put a protected plant pot inside rather than relying on the basket to hold wet soil. Set it on a dry, stable floor where the basket will not be repeatedly splashed. For a tidy, lived-in look, choose a plant whose pot has enough clearance and whose watering routine will not soak the weave. A good basket makes a small visual change without asking the plant to change; confirm the measurements that matter to you before ordering.
