Pull-Out Wooden Dog Nail Scratch Board

Make scratch practice part of a supervised nail-care routine

When you want a scratch-based activity to complement your dog’s grooming routine, a board with a hidden reward area offers a different format from hand-held clippers. This wooden dog nail scratch board has a sandpaper surface and a pull-out design. The main photograph shows the sliding section opened to reveal a treat area, illustrating the intended supervised training setup.

The source identifies sandpaper as the working material and describes the board as wooden in the title. It does not establish a wood species, abrasive grit or a tested coating specification. The product is therefore not presented as chew-proof or verified non-toxic. It is a grooming accessory, not something to leave with an animal that is likely to bite, break or swallow the components.

The selector lists black. Overall dimensions, the usable sanding area and the depth of the treat section are not supplied in the written details. Confirm the size if the board must fit a particular space or if your dog needs a specific working area. The source positions it for small and medium dogs, but no numerical breed-size, paw-size or load range is established.

The pull-out format gives access to the compartment shown in the image. Treats are not confirmed contents, and the listing does not establish that replacement sandpaper is included. If replacing the surface is important to you, confirm the required sheet dimensions and attachment method before ordering. A sliding section does not by itself prove that every component is interchangeable with another scratch board.

Introduce the activity gradually, supervise use and inspect nail condition during practice. Stop before excessive abrasion or discomfort. A scratch movement may not contact every claw, so it should not be treated as guaranteed complete nail care. Ask a groomer or veterinary professional about nails that remain overgrown, painful or difficult to assess. Do not use the board on injured paws or force a distressed animal to continue.

The original description claims a stable anti-slip base, but provides no test rating or supported-surface specification. Place the board securely and check for movement rather than assuming it cannot slide or tip. Follow the supplied cleaning instructions, keeping the reward area clean without assuming the wood can be soaked. Choose this board for its documented pull-out format, sandpaper surface and visible treat compartment, with fit, replacement materials and a suitable grooming routine considered separately.
