Hooded Cuddler Pet Bed – Deep Snuggle

The Dog Who Burrows Under Every Blanket Owns Your Sofa

Burrowing dogs have one mission: get under something, anything, including your duvet, your laundry pile, and the sofa cushion situation you have carefully abandoned policing. Flat beds don't scratch that itch (pun intended), so your dog defeats every bed you buy and relocates to your bedding. A hooded cuddler bed gives them the blanket-fort experience built in, claws off your sheets, and finally a bed they'll defend instead of ignore.

A Snuggle Cave That Stays Put

Round, plush, and donut-deep, this cuddler wraps your dog in soft sherpa-style pile, with a raised rim that doubles as a pillow and an attached blanket hood they can nuzzle right under. It mimics the feeling of being nestled in warmth, which is precisely what burrowers, curlers, and anxious sleepers are hunting every time they rearrange your duvet. The base resists everyday splashes and muddy paw marks (supplier-listed as water and stain resistant).

• Colours: green, beige, grey, blue, or brown

Who Sleeps Best in a Hooded Bed

Toasty matches: small dogs, cats obviously, burrowing terriers, anxious rescue pups who need a safe hidey-hole, and seniors who feel winter in their bones. Not for heavy chewers (as with any plush bed, supervise new beds until you trust the truce).

Convincing a Duvet Loyalist to Convert

Burrowing habits run deep, so introduce the hood gradually: park the bed beside their favourite sofa spot, drape one of their blankets inside for familiar scent, and reward every visit. Most burrowers abandon ship within a fortnight once they discover the hood holds heat better than your bedding ever did. Keep the bed where they already lurk rather than wherever suits the room layout; the dog's choice wins this referendum.

Care and Keeping

Machine washable (supplier-listed): zip out what unzips, wash gentle and cool, air dry, and re-fluff the rim by hand. Whack it outside weekly to shake out crumbs, fur tumbleweeds, and the inexplicably hoarded biscuit.

The Peace Treaty of the Sofa

Picture a drizzly Sunday: your burrower spirals three times, vanishes beneath the hood, and emerges hours later only because you rattled the treat tin. The sofa cushions remain stacked. The duvet remains made. This is what detente looks like.
