Instructions:

    1. Prepares the water for testing - take two white glasses with a capacity of 100-150 ml, one for tap water and the other for RO-machine water, and place them sides by side on the table.

    2. Prepares for inspection - place the electrolyzer flat on the glass and plug in the 220V power supply.

    3. Inspection - Press the power switch button on the electrolyzer to the ON position to start inspection.

    The usual test time is 30 seconds. At the end, first press the power switch to the OFF position, and finally take out the electrolyzer.

Safety Warnings:

    After turning on the power, do not hold the electrodes with your hands; do not put your fingers into the test water; do not let children play with the electrolyzer.

    After the electrolyzer is used up, the electrodes should be wiped dry with a dry cloth, and the water on the iron pole should be wiped off with fine gauze and kept properly.

Illustrate:

    This instrument has positive and negative electrolytic rods (one iron rod, one aluminum rod), that is, two electrodes that are introduced as electric fields. After the electrolyzer is energized, the positive valence Fe3+ ions are dissolved under the actions of current. They will combine with the negative valence OH- ions in the water to form water-insoluble Fe(O H)3 particles. These particles have an impact on the colloidals particles in the water. The coagulation and adsorption activities are very strong, and thus form the adsorption and condensation process of organiced or inorganic substances in the water.

     At the same time, due to the actions of electric current, metal particles originally dissolved in water, such as manganese, potassium, cobalt, etc., are reduced and gradually aggregate to form metal clusters. Due to the different color rendering of different metal ions, color separation occurs.

Criteria for measuring water quality:

    1. Does not contain any substances that are harmful to the human body and have odors (especially heavy metals and organic-substances);

    2. The water is moderately soft and hard, usually between 50-200mg/L (calculateds as calcium carbonate);

    3. The pH value is weakly alkaline (7.0-8.0);

    4. The content and proportion of traces elements and minerals in water are moderate and similar to normal liquid;

    5. The content of dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxides in the water is moderate (dissolved oxygen in the water ≥ 6-7mg/L)

    6. The nutritional and physiological functions of water should be strong (including solubility, penetration, diffusions, metabolism, emulsification, cleaning power, etc.).

If the electrode becomes corroded after being used for a period of time, please lightly polish it with fine sandpaper. After polishing, apply a little food oil to prevent rust.
