Black PP Square Tube End Caps, Size and Pack Options

Cover an open square tube with a matching insert

An exposed square-tube end can leave a furniture or shelving project looking unfinished. These black plastic end caps provide an insert format for compatible tube openings, with a flat-looking top and ribbed sides shown in the main photograph. The listing offers different sizes and pack quantities so you can choose for the project rather than assuming one plug fits every opening.

PP plastic is the documented material. The ribbed structure is described for insertion, but there is no quantified pull-out force, load rating or heat limit supplied. It should not be treated as a structural connector, an electrical-insulation certification or a guarantee that a furniture leg becomes safe on every floor surface.

The source selection guide uses the tube’s outer dimensions and lists an applicable wall-thickness range of 0.6–2 mm. Confirm the actual opening and the chosen plug’s dimensions before fitting. A square outer measurement alone may not establish a match when wall thickness or internal corner shape differs. The source mentions trimming ribs for thicker walls, but suitability should be checked before making an irreversible adjustment.

The smaller pack options are 13×13, 15×15, 16×16, 19×19 and 20×20 mm with twenty pieces; 22×22, 23×23, 25×25, 30×30 and 32×32 mm with ten pieces. Select the full size-and-quantity label rather than reading the number as a count alone. The title range does not mean every millimetre increment is offered.

Options of 35×35, 38×38, 40×40, 45×45 and 50×50 mm list five pieces. 60×60, 70×70, 75×75 and 80×80 mm list two pieces, while 100×100 and 120×120 mm list one. The main stacked comparison image illustrates several sizes rather than a mixed-size assortment in each pack.

The thickness field states 10 mm without clearly identifying the measured part of the cap, so it is not relabelled as insertion depth. Inspect the tube edge and follow the supplied fitting instructions before installation. Furniture, metal tubes and tools in demonstrations are not included. Choose these caps for their documented PP material, square ribbed format and clear pack options, with dimensional fit and the intended application checked separately.

For a project requiring several different tube sizes, select each corresponding option separately. Count the openings before ordering and compare the pack quantities so that a one-piece large option is not mistaken for the twenty-piece smaller-size format shown elsewhere in the selector.
