Trimmable Cat Scratch Mat – Seven Colours & Size Options

Plan a scratching surface around the space you have

When your cat repeatedly scratches the same furniture edge, a standard freestanding board may not fit the area you want to address. This Trimmable Cat Scratch Mat from Elanique offers a carpet-style sheet format in several dimensions. It gives you another surface to consider for a planned scratching area, without promising that it will stop furniture damage or change every cat's behaviour.

A textured sheet that can be cut to shape

The reviewed photographs show a textured, carpet-like material displayed both rolled and flat. One image demonstrates cutting the sheet with scissors, while another shows an example covering a sofa side. These demonstrations establish the intended trimmable format, not universal suitability for every furniture covering.

No fibre composition, backing specification, thickness or finished-edge treatment is supplied. The appearance does not establish natural sisal, wool, cotton or a particular synthetic blend. Check the supplied installation guidance before cutting, and consider how exposed edges will be positioned away from pets that pull at loose fibres.

Choose from the existing size labels

The available dimensions are 30 × 30 cm, 30 × 60 cm, 30 × 100 cm, 30 × 200 cm, 40 × 100 cm, 40 × 200 cm and 40 × 300 cm. These are the listed sheet-size options, not measurements of a complete scratching post or covered piece of furniture.

Measure the intended area before selecting a sheet, allowing for the shape you plan to cut rather than assuming every offcut will be usable. The listing does not specify continuous lengths when ordering multiple units or offer a made-to-measure service. Cutting tools and furniture pictured are not confirmed as included.

Seven colour selections for your chosen area

The existing colour labels are Black, Warm White, Dark Gray, Gray, Dark Blue, Khaki and Brown. Each is offered across the listed sizes. Use the selected option as the reference rather than assuming the display swatches show exact colour placement or a pack containing every shade.

The original title describes a self-adhesive design, but no adhesive chemistry, cure time, removal method or compatible-surface list is provided. Do not assume a residue-free peel, damage-free removal or reliable adhesion to leather, paint, varnish and every upholstery fabric. Confirm compatibility and test an inconspicuous area before wider application.

Keep installation separate from climbing claims

A display image shows cats against a vertically mounted sheet. That image does not establish a load rating, secure wall-climbing installation or suitability for supporting an animal's weight. This mat is described as a scratching surface, not climbing equipment. Do not rely on an unspecified adhesive to hold a cat above the floor.

Picture preparing a suitable low-level area, positioning the mat according to the supplied directions and introducing your cat gradually while you supervise. Check attachment and edges regularly. A dedicated surface can form part of your setup, but it is not a guarantee against scratching elsewhere.
