Plush Bear-Patch Pullover for Small Dogs

The Cold-Weather Jumper Your Puppy Will Actually Keep On

Frosty mornings are tough on little dogs: bare bellies inches from icy pavements, short coats, and a shiver before the end of the street. The catch is that small dogs refuse anything stiff or heavy, so the winter layer has to feel like a soft toy, not equipment. This plush teddy-textured pullover is exactly that: squishy-soft warmth they lean into rather than wriggle out of.

Plush Softness with a Bear-Faced Smile

The jumper is made from a tactile, bobbly plush that feels like their favourite blanket, with an embroidered teddy bear face beaming from the chest and a neat ribbed crewneck, cuffs, and hem to keep the fit snug. Short sleeves sit comfortably over the front legs without twisting, and the pullover design pops on and off in seconds. (The supplier's cotton claim isn't independently confirmed; what we can promise is it's seriously soft.)

Colours and Sizes

• Colours: sky blue, red, pink, or a pale neutral listed as "Yellow" in the menu (it photographs more cream-beige, as pictured)
• Sizes: XS through XXL; measure chest girth and back length, size up when between sizes
• Fit: pullover sweatshirt with short sleeves
• For: small dogs and puppies (chihuahuas, yorkies, toy breeds)

Dressing Made Drama-Free

Introduce it indoors with treats at the ready: first a sniff, then a head-through, then a five-minute wear with plenty of praise. Most puppies accept soft jumpers within two or three sessions, and once yours connects it with feeling warm, getting dressed becomes part of the walk ritual rather than a negotiation.

Why Texture Wins Over Thin Fleece

A deep plush pile traps a cushion of warm air right against the body and feels reassuringly familiar to snuggly dogs, which is why textured jumpers get accepted faster than flat ones. Warmth plus a fabric they're pre-programmed to cuddled into equals a winter layer that stays on all walk long.

Care and Keeping

Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle and air dry, then fluff the pile back up with your fingers. Wash before first wear for maximum softness, and rotate two colours so Monday's mud never steals Tuesday's outfit.
