Fleas Are a Problem. A Chemical-Free Solution Shouldn't Be.
Discovering fleas on your pet is one of the most stressful moments of pet ownership. The instinct is to reach for the strongest chemical treatment available — but for pet owners who prefer to minimise chemical exposure, particularly in households with young children or sensitive animals, there is a more targeted first step: the flea comb.
The OITABI Rotatable Flea Comb Fine-Tooth Pet Flea & Lice Remover is designed for exactly this purpose. With ultra-fine teeth that trap and remove fleas, lice, and their eggs from the coat, and a rotatable head that makes it easy to work around your pet's body, it provides effective, chemical-free flea detection and removal as part of a comprehensive flea management approach.
Why Flea Combing Matters
Flea combs serve two critical functions in flea management. First, they allow you to detect flea infestations early — before they become severe — by revealing fleas, flea dirt (digested blood), and eggs in the coat. Early detection means earlier treatment and a less severe infestation to manage. Second, they physically remove fleas and eggs from the coat, reducing the flea burden on your pet immediately and providing relief from the irritation that flea bites cause.
Used regularly — particularly during peak flea season from spring through autumn — flea combing is one of the most effective monitoring tools available to pet owners, regardless of what other flea prevention measures are in place.
The Rotatable Head Advantage
Standard flea combs are rigid, which makes them difficult to use effectively around the curves of your pet's body — particularly in the areas where fleas prefer to hide: the neck, behind the ears, the groin, and the base of the tail. The rotatable head of this comb allows it to pivot as you work, maintaining consistent contact with the coat in these awkward areas and ensuring thorough coverage across the entire body.

How to Use a Flea Comb Effectively
For best results, comb your pet over a white surface — a white towel or sheet of paper — so that any fleas or flea dirt that fall from the coat are visible. Work systematically from head to tail, paying particular attention to the neck, behind the ears, the groin, and the base of the tail. After each pass, dip the comb in soapy water to drown any captured fleas before continuing.
Regular combing sessions — two to three times per week during flea season — provide ongoing monitoring and help manage flea populations between treatments.
