Gather wet leftovers without fishing them out of the basin
Food scraps left around the sink can turn the final stage of washing up into another messy job. This sink filter net system provides a suspended mesh collection point for suitable leftovers, allowing excess water to drain into the basin before you remove the bag. Choose a holder option with 50 filter bags pictured, or select the clearly labelled 50 Filters only option when you need replacement bags rather than another frame.
Choose a holder set or a refill pack
Milky White, Transparent White and Transparent Black are the three holder options. Their individual photographs each show a folding rectangular frame, a rear mounting base and an accompanying pack marked 50PC. The fourth option, 50 Filters only, shows one pack containing 50 mesh bags and does not include the holder. Check this distinction before ordering, especially if you are buying the system for the first time.
The frame shown is rectangular, not the triangular rack described in the earlier listing. A net stretches around the frame and hangs below it over the basin. The rear base sits on the sink surround in the demonstrations, with a central press control used for attachment. The source describes suction mounting, but no tested holding force or supported surface list is supplied.
Fold the frame up when it is not collecting scraps
The gallery shows the outer frame pivoted upwards against the rear section. This gives you a different position when the net is not in use rather than leaving the frame extended across the same part of the basin. Do not fold it with a loaded bag attached, and check that movement will not catch the tap, nearby items or the sink edge.
Imagine finishing a meal and gathering suitable wet leftovers in one place. With the holder securely mounted and a bag fitted around the frame, excess liquid can drain away while the solids remain together. You can then support the bag, release its edge from the frame and transfer the collected scraps to the appropriate waste container. Replace the bag as needed rather than leaving food residue hanging beside the sink.
Check your sink layout before purchase
No frame dimensions, net dimensions, material composition, mesh aperture or rated load are supplied in the reviewed listing. The photographs illustrate placement, not a guaranteed fit for every sink. Check that you have a suitable clean mounting area, clearance for the extended frame and enough room for a hanging bag without blocking access to the drain.
A mesh bag cannot be assumed to catch every particle or prevent plumbing blockages. Keep your existing drain protection in place and avoid sending fats or unsuitable waste down the sink. Do not use the frame to support heavy items: although a gallery photograph shows bottles in a net, no tested load supports that demonstration.
Use for scrap collection with appropriate care
No heat rating or food-contact certification is provided. This description therefore does not recommend pouring boiling liquids into a suspended bag or using the nets as food-preparation equipment. Allow hot leftovers to cool appropriately before handling. Clean the holder and mounting area regularly, inspect the frame and bag for damage, and check the attachment before each use.
The refill bags are not identified as biodegradable, compostable or flushable. Dispose of used nets according to their actual material and local waste guidance; do not put them down the drain. Food, bottles and other demonstration props are not included.
