Women's Black PU Faux-Leather Shorts

Give a simple outfit a stronger focal point

Finding a short evening layer can be tricky when sports shorts look too casual and tailored styles feel too formal. These black faux-leather-look shorts offer a close-fitting alternative with a high-waist category. The material listing names polyurethane and polyester, not animal leather. The smooth dark surface provides the visual contrast, so a simple top can be enough to complete the outfit.

Details for your selection

Black is the selectable colour. Sizes are XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL. Unlabelled reference ranges are XS 54–78, S 58–82, M 62–86, L 66–90, XL 70–94, XXL 74–98 and XXXL 78–102cm. The measurement position is not supplied. Confirm the waistband range, hip and rise before relying on those figures.

Pair the glossy-looking finish with a matte blouse or a soft knit for contrast. If you plan to wear tights underneath, allow for that layer when checking the fit. These are fashion shorts, not protective cycling or specialist performance clothing.

Compare the proportions you prefer

A short garment needs to work through the waist and hips as well as at the hem. Compare it with a pair you already like, checking rise, seat room and finished length against a labelled chart. Size letters alone do not tell you how the garment will sit. If the reference figures have no clear measurement position, confirm their meaning before using them to choose a size or assuming they represent your body measurements.

Balance the outfit around the shorts

Think about whether you want the shorts to be the main detail or a quiet base for another piece. A plain top gives a patterned or textured short more room to stand out, while a longer shirt changes the amount of coverage. Footwear also changes the balance: choose it for your plans and comfort rather than relying on the exact styling in a photograph. Accessories shown with the garment are not automatically included.

Check comfort in real positions

Try sitting, bending and taking a few steps when assessing your preferred fit. A waist that feels comfortable standing may feel different seated, and a short hem may move more than expected. Follow the garment care label and avoid assuming a specialist cleaning method from appearance alone. Casual and sports-inspired styling does not establish a performance rating, protective function or a guaranteed shaping result. Choose the garment for the actual fit and coverage you want.
