Harlequin Knit Dog Sweater – Optional Jester Hat

Winter Photos Deserve Better Than a Borrowed Tea Towel

Every December the same challenge arrives: family photos, Christmas-card shoots, and festive walks where your small dog needs to look the part without freezing or hating every second. Most novelty outfits are stiff, scratchy costumes worn once and never again. This knitted sweater and jester-hat set flips the script: real knitwear warmth in a joyfully silly harlequin design your dog can genuinely live in through the whole festive season.

Knitted Warmth in Full Party Dress

The sweater is a proper chunky knit in a cheery harlequin diamond pattern with a collar of contrast points and playful pom-poms, and the matching jester-style hat completes the look with floppy tips and more pom-poms (a navy version swaps the diamonds for embroidered fruit and lettering, as pictured). Underneath the fun it is still warm, stretchy knitwear: soft against fur, easy over the head, and cosy enough for a frosty morning loop.

Colours, Sets, and Sizes

• Options: yellow harlequin, dark blue embroidered, red, green, or brown; some choices bundle the matching jester hat (the menu labels these "Sweater and Hat"), and a few colour/size combinations are currently sold out
• Sizes: XS to XL; measure chest girth and back length, size up when between sizes
• Fit: pullover knitted sweater with ribbed hem and collar
• For: small dogs (chihuahuas, bichons, yorkies) and very tolerant cats

When to Deploy the Jester

Christmas morning, obviously, but do not stop there: winter birthdays, pub garden meet-ups, and any grey Tuesday that needs cheering all qualify. The knit is warm enough to count as an actual winter layer, so taking the scenic route home is always on the table.

Novelty Done Right

The secret to festive pet outfits is choosing ones built like real clothes: knitted, breathable, and flexible enough for zoomies between photo takes. This set passes that test, so the jester look survives January walks and next year's parties too. Introduce the hat gradually with treats; most dogs accept it quickly when they clock the attention it earns.

Care and Keeping

Hand wash cool or use a delicate cycle in a laundry bag to protect the pom-poms, then reshape and dry flat. Store folded with tissue in the hat tips and it will greet next December looking brand new.

The Card Photo, Secured

Picture your pup parked by the tree in full harlequin finery, pom-poms bobbing, charming every guest who walks through the door. Festive, warm, and impossible not to smile at. That is a very good Christmas.
