Pet Grooming Glove – Textured Hair-Removal Mitt

Loose pet hair can turn a simple grooming session into an awkward task

Holding a brush, following your pet's movement and keeping a steady grip are not always easy to combine. This Pet Grooming Glove from Elanique puts a textured grooming surface on your hand instead of at the end of a separate handle. It offers a hands-on way to work over suitable areas of your pet's coat and collect loose hair as part of a regular grooming routine.

A textured palm with individual finger sections

The product photograph shows a five-finger glove with raised blue nubs across the palm and fingers, a black fabric-looking backing and a wrist section. The separate finger shape lets you position your hand around the contours of the coat rather than guiding a rigid brush head. The texture is visible across a broad contact area, including towards the fingertips.

The supplied material specification says plastic. A precise polymer, backing-fabric composition and nub hardness are not provided, so this listing does not claim silicone construction or a particular softness grade. Assess the surface and fit before use, and follow any instructions supplied with your selected option.

Bring grooming into a familiar routine

Imagine your cat settling nearby during a quiet afternoon. Let them investigate the glove before beginning, then try a short, light pass over an area where they are comfortable being touched. Pause to check their reaction rather than treating grooming as something to finish at any cost. The glove format gives you an alternative to picking up a handled tool, but every animal's response will be different.

Start with brief sessions and avoid pulling through tangles or pressing against sensitive skin. Stop if your pet appears distressed or uncomfortable. This is a grooming accessory for loose coat hair, not a treatment for skin problems, a dematting blade or a replacement for professional advice when the coat needs specialist attention.

A manual accessory without a charging routine

The source lists no charging time and a voltage value of zero, consistent with a manually operated mitt. There are no powered grooming functions described. Keep the glove with your other coat-care accessories so it is available when you decide to carry out a short grooming session.

The original listing mentions cats and dogs, while the structured animal-type field identifies cats. Suitability for a particular animal depends on its coat, condition and tolerance, so check the selected option and supplied guidance rather than assuming universal compatibility. No dimensions or hand-size measurements are supplied.
