Paw Washing Cup – Muddy Paw Solution

Muddy Paws at the Door. Every. Single. Day.

Rainy-season dog walking has a predictable soundtrack: lovely walk, then the frantic towel ballet at the doorway, one paw wrestled clean at a time, muddy marks up the hall wall regardless. A paw-washing cup ends the drama: mild water, soft silicone bristles, a few gentle twists per paw, and the muck stays in the cup instead of migrating to floors, rugs, and car seats.

A Gentle Paw Spa That Actually Works

Inside the cup, soft silicone bristles flex around the paw and pads to work mud out from between toes with plain water (add a drop of pet-safe wash for city pavements if desired). The paw goes in, you twist, the dirt stays in the cup, and a quick towel-dab finishes the job. Rinse the bristles in the sink after; the whole cycle takes about ninety seconds per dog.

Colours and Sizes

• Colours: green, blue, or orange
• Sizes: S, M, and L; pick by paw width (S for toy breeds and cats, M for terrier-to-spaniel, L for big lab-type paws (measure the paw pad across, not the toes))
• One cup per pack
• For: dogs of all sizes; cats occasionally tolerate it

Doorway Routine, Refined

Keep the cup filled by the door (or car boot) through muddy months: before anyone steps inside, each paw goes dip-twist-dab. Add a post-walk towel station and the towel ballet retires entirely. Winter grit and summer dust both wash off the same way.

First-Use Paw Diplomacy

Most dogs accept the cup on day one; the sceptical few need a grand total of one practice session: cup on the floor, paw guided in with treats raining down, twist gently three times, paw out, enormous praise, done. Keep first sessions under two minutes total and by walk three the routine is as automatic as the lead going on (and considerably less dramatic).

Care and Keeping

Tip out the dirty water after each use, rinse the bristles with warm water, and let the cup air dry. Weekly soap-and-rinse keeps it fresh for years of walks.

Dry Floors, Happy Walker

Picture the muddiest common in November: back through the door, four quick dips, four clean paws, straight back onto the sofa they'd otherwise have marched across the rug to reach. Pure joy for the dog; pure art direction for the hardwood.
