Car Ice Scraper with Padded Mitt – Blade & Claw Windscreen Tool

Frozen Windscreen, Freezing Fingers, and Nowhere to Hide

Winter mornings have a way of ambushing you. You are already running late, the windscreen is glazed over, and the only scraping tool within reach is a loyalty card that snaps on the second swipe. Bare-hand scraping is worse: thirty seconds in and your fingers are wet, numb, and aching, and the glass is still only half clear. A proper scraper with a covered, padded mitt changes the whole routine, clearing the glass faster while your hand stays out of the weather.

Two Working Edges for Every Kind of Frost

This scraper gives you both tools in one head. The flat blade side is made for the everyday job, sweeping away loose snow and shaving off frost and ice debris in clean passes. Flip it round and the claw side's teeth get to work on thicker, stubborn ice, breaking it up so the blade can finish the job. The scraper head is listed as removable from the handle, handy for stowing it flat in the glovebox, and the molded blue foam grip gives you something solid and comfortable to push against, with a hanging loop at the end for storage.

Keep Your Hand in Its Own Little Shelter

Choose one of the scraper-and-mitt options and your scraping hand gets a padded, quilted-look cover that slips between it and the weather while you work. The supplier describes the mitt as warm and water-resistant; we have not independently tested those claims, but even an unproven extra layer beats a bare hand on a frosty morning. If you already have gloves you like, the scraper-only colours will do nicely on their own.

Pick Your Setup

• Scraper-only colours: black, red, or blue
• Scraper-and-mitt options: blue with mitt, or black with mitt
• A further "Black and Red" option is listed; its exact contents are not confirmed, so check the option photos before choosing
• Grip: molded EVA foam handle; scraper head listed as ABS plastic

Tomorrow Morning, Ten Minutes Earlier

Picture the next hard frost. Instead of hunting for a bank card and sacrificing your knuckles to the ice, you pull this from the door pocket, slip your hand into the mitt, crack the thick patches with the claw, and sweep the glass clear with the blade. Clear screen, dry hand, and you are on the road before the kettle at home has even finished boiling.
